Company Description
Fisk Avenue is a DIY studio, wine bar, and custom furniture woodshop in Downtown Waukesha. Our DIY Studio hosts sip & craft workshops and creative events for guests to learn a new skill, make something unique, and gather for a fun outing. We offer a variety of projects including epoxy pouring, woodworking, crafts, and painting experiences in our Splatter Room. This is not your typical art class! This is a fun, no-experience-required class with all supplies included that is guided step-by-step by our enthusiastic leaders.

Job Description
Do you LOVE crafts? Fisk Avenue is hiring an Assistant Workshop Leader to assist with classes at our DIY studio in Waukesha and occasional off-site events in the Milwaukee area. Share your creativity at classes scheduled by our guests any time during our studio hours of Wednesday-Saturday 12am-7pm and Sunday 11am-3pm with additional prep time as needed.

Responsibilities
Assist with events and projects for individuals in studio. Prepare for upcoming workshops and events. Provide great customer service and encourage creativity in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Serve wine at the bar. Help with studio cleanliness and other day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications
1.   Must have basic crafting skills and a strong interest in learning new techniques.
2.   Must be able to do light to moderate physical labor (lifting supplies, etc.)
3.   Must be 18+ to apply. Wisconsin license to serve alcohol is a bonus. If you don’t have one, we will reimburse any fees to fulfill the course requirement while employed.
